Trina Fears Willow Will Frame Kai for Drew’s Shooting!
Trina Robinson is terrified that Willow Cain could turn the tables on Kai and accuse him of shooting Drew.
Kai finally admits that he didn’t tell Trina everything that happened after he resigned. Willow had confronted him, and after Kai called her out over Drew’s shooting, she allegedly threatened to retaliate.
That immediately worries Trina.
She knows Willow is a congresswoman, and Trina fears that if Willow goes to the police and claims Kai was the one who shot Drew, people may believe her. After all, Willow has already shown that she is willing to fight back when her secrets are threatened.
Alexis Steps In to Back Kai and Trina
Kai tries to reassure Trina that Willow never directly threatened her. But Trina isn't convinced. She reminds him that Willow knows she also gave Michael an affidavit, meaning both of them could potentially become targets.
That's when Kai reveals that he already went to Alexis Davis for advice.
Alexis has given them a reason to hope. If Willow tries to implicate Kai by claiming he accused her simply because he was actually the person who shot Drew, Alexis is prepared to back Kai and Trina. She can also confirm that the two of them came to her back in January, helping support their version of what really happened.
Still, Trina knows they're in a dangerous position.
Standing Together in the Face of Danger
She can't believe Kai kept Willow's threat from her, but Kai explains that Trina was already dealing with so much, including her plans with Gio, and he wanted to speak with Alexis first before making her worry even more.
Despite everything, Trina makes it clear that she and Kai are in this together.
Both of them admit that they wish they had handled things differently. They regret not going straight to the police when they first learned that Willow was wearing a wire in the courtroom. But they can't change what happened. Now they have to deal with the consequences.
And neither of them regrets giving Michael those affidavits.
Looking Toward the Future Amid Looming Threats
Kai believes Willow had to be stopped because she was threatening to take Michael's children away from him. Trina agrees that they did the right thing by stepping forward.
For now, Kai is also relieved that he is no longer working for Willow. He and Trina hope they can finally put some distance between themselves and the chaos surrounding Willow and Drew.
But the danger may not be over.
The biggest relief for Trina is knowing that they have each other—and that Alexis knows their side of the story.
As they try to look toward the future, Kai tells Trina that his next priority isn't simply his career.
It's her.
Can Willow Really Bury the Truth?
He plans to watch Trina and Gio perform at the Cat's Eye Lounge, giving the two of them a chance to focus on their relationship after everything they've been through.
But with Willow potentially willing to fight back, Trina and Kai may not be able to escape the drama surrounding Drew's shooting so easily.
Willow may have threatened Kai, but Trina isn't backing down. And with Alexis standing behind them, the truth about what happened to Drew could become much harder for Willow to bury.
