General Hospital Spoilers for Thursday, August 20, 2026: Josslyn Warns Jason as Ric Targets Liz and Dante
Thursday's General Hospital will bring emotional confrontations, jealousy, warnings, and difficult choices. Ric Lansing will struggle with what he believes is happening between Elizabeth Baldwin and Dante Falconeri, while Josslyn Jacks will have a serious warning for Jason Morgan.
At the same time, Carly Spencer will try to help Lulu Spencer, Ric will make Lulu an unexpected offer, and Curtis Ashford will prepare to enter Pentonville with Alexis Davis reminding him what he must not lose sight of.
Ric Misreads Elizabeth and Dante's Situation
Ric Lansing will arrive at Elizabeth Baldwin's home carrying his engagement ring, but the romantic moment he may have imagined will quickly disappear.
When Ric looks through the window, he will see Dante Falconeri sitting on Liz's sofa without his pants. Dante's injured knee explains the situation, but Ric won't immediately see it that way.
From Ric's perspective, the scene will look suspiciously intimate, and his jealousy will take over.
Liz Refuses to Send Dante Away
Ric will barge into the house in an angry state, forcing Elizabeth to explain what is really happening.
Liz will try to calm Ric down and make him understand that she was simply taking care of Dante while he dealt with his knee injury.
However, Ric has already been bothered by the amount of time Elizabeth and Dante have been spending together. Seeing them in this situation will only make his suspicions worse.
Elizabeth, however, won't accept Ric's demands.

Carly Gives Lulu Something to Think About
Carly Spencer will have some advice for Lulu Spencer, and it could hit especially close to home.
Carly may realize that Lulu still has strong feelings for Dante. If Lulu secretly wants to rebuild the life she once had with him, Carly could encourage her to stop hiding from those emotions.
Rather than allowing uncertainty to keep controlling her decisions, Lulu may need to finally be honest about what she wants.
Of course, Dante may not be the only issue Carly wants to discuss.
Lulu's complicated situation with Valentin Cassadine and Charlotte Cassadine could also become part of their conversation. Since Lulu and Valentin are expected to clash, Carly might try to help prevent the situation from becoming even more hostile.
Whatever Carly's advice involves, Lulu will have plenty to think about.
Ric Makes Lulu an Unexpected Offer
Ric will eventually come face-to-face with Lulu, and he won't be there simply to talk.
He has a plan, and he may believe Lulu can help him put it into action.
Ric could reveal that he wants Lulu to help disrupt the growing connection between Elizabeth and Dante. He won't want to wait until their bond becomes even stronger.
Lulu may be surprised by Ric's request, especially since getting involved could create another complicated situation with Dante.
Will Lulu agree to help Ric, or will she realize that interfering in Liz and Dante's relationship could create consequences she isn't prepared to handle?
Liz Worries About Ric's Next Move
Once Ric is gone, Elizabeth will have the opportunity to talk privately with Dante.
She may admit that Ric's reaction has made her uncomfortable. Liz has already noticed how closely Ric has been watching her interactions with Dante, and his latest outburst could convince her that his jealousy is getting worse.

Josslyn Has a Warning for Jason

Anna Devane will help Josslyn meet Tristan Roberts, giving them a chance to get acquainted. But Josslyn will also have another matter on her mind.

Josslyn Doesn't Trust Britt
Britt Westbourne may be at the heart of Josslyn's concerns.
Josslyn believes Jason could be putting himself in danger by continuing to keep Britt close. She may feel that Britt could eventually betray him if given enough time.
Her warning will essentially be that Jason should not assume Britt's loyalty will last forever.
Jason may not be ready to change his mind about Britt. He has his own reasons for keeping certain people close, and Josslyn's suspicions may not be enough to change his decision.
Still, her warning could make Jason take a closer look at the situation.
Isaiah Comes Up With an Idea for Curtis
Meanwhile, Isaiah Gannon will speak with Portia Robinson about Curtis Ashford's upcoming prison transition.
Curtis is preparing to begin his sentence at Pentonville, and Isaiah may have an idea that could make the process a little easier.
Portia will naturally have concerns about what Curtis is about to face. Any practical assistance could make a difference as the family prepares for his absence.
Alexis Reminds Curtis What Matters Most
Alexis Davis will also make sure Curtis hears something he needs to remember before entering Pentonville.
She may understand why Curtis feels angry about everything that has happened, but she won't want that anger to control him once he begins his sentence.
Alexis could urge Curtis to think beyond his current circumstances and focus on the people waiting for him outside.
Curtis Must Not Lose Sight of Desmond
Alexis will likely remind Curtis that Desmond is the reason he needs to stay focused.
If Curtis allows resentment to consume him, he could make choices that make his eventual return home much harder.
