General Hospital Spoilers for Monday, August 31, 2026: Charlotte Breaks the Rules as Drew’s Enemies Make Their Move
Monday’s episode of General Hospital promises trouble in Port Charles as several characters find themselves caught up in risky plans, unexpected alliances, and secrets that refuse to stay hidden. Charlotte Cassadine is ready to test the rules, while Ava Jerome continues her dangerous game with Jack Brennan.
Meanwhile, Drew Cain’s plans hit another obstacle when Sonny Corinthos and Laura Collins force him into an unexpected conversation. Carly Spencer and Valentin Cassadine, however, may be waiting for Drew to make the mistake they need.
Charlotte Cassadine Takes a Risk
Charlotte Cassadine may decide that rules are simply suggestions on Monday.
Despite the Metro Court pool being closed, Charlotte appears ready to ignore the warning and slip into the pool for a nighttime swim. Her rebellious streak could get the better of her, but breaking the rules could also leave her facing consequences she never expected.
Charlotte may believe she can get away with the secret swim, but Port Charles has a way of turning even innocent mischief into a much bigger problem.
Ava Keeps Brennan Distracted
Ava Jerome will remain focused on Jack Brennan as their conversation continues.
Ava has already made a dangerous move by slipping a sleeping pill into Brennan’s drink, using medication that Drew supplied. Now she needs to keep him occupied long enough for the drug to do its job.
Rather than allowing the conversation to end quickly, Ava will likely stretch things out. She may also issue Brennan a warning before they part ways, giving her another opportunity to keep him right where she wants him.
The longer Brennan remains distracted, the more time Ava and Drew could have to put their larger plan into motion.
Drew’s Plans Hit Another Roadblock
Drew Cain will have plenty on his mind as Monday unfolds, especially with his carefully arranged plans already running behind schedule.
Laura Collins and Sonny Corinthos will prevent Drew from immediately moving forward when they stop him at the Metro Court. When Laura joins Sonny and Drew for a discussion, she’ll reveal that she had hoped one of them might reconsider their position.
The conversation appears to involve the upcoming auction of Jenz Sidwell’s assets. Laura may have hoped either Sonny or Drew would step aside, but neither man seems particularly interested in backing down.
That leaves Drew with another delay at precisely the wrong moment.
Carly and Valentin Look for Drew’s Weakness
While Drew deals with Sonny and Laura, Carly Spencer and Valentin Cassadine will be thinking several steps ahead.
The two will discuss how they can put themselves in a stronger position against Drew. Their strategy may depend on Drew slipping up, and if he gives them the opening they need, Carly and Valentin intend to take full advantage.
This could put Drew in an increasingly difficult position. He has multiple problems developing around him, and one wrong move could give his opponents exactly what they need.
Can Drew Shut Down Brennan’s Security?
Despite the delays, Drew won’t abandon his scheme.
A major part of his plan involves using a computer virus to disable the security system. If he can successfully bring the system down, Drew would have the opportunity to search Brennan’s hotel room without the usual security measures standing in his way.
The problem is that Drew is already behind schedule because of his unexpected meeting with Sonny and Laura. Fortunately for him, Ava’s drugged drink could buy him some additional time if the sleeping pill keeps Brennan incapacitated.
Everything depends on timing—and Drew has very little room for error.
Dante Pushes Britt for More Answers
Dante Falconeri will also have questions for Britt Westbourne.
Dante won’t simply accept what he already knows. Instead, he’ll press Britt to reveal whether there is anything else he needs to understand about the situation.
The subject could involve Cassius Faison, although there may be another piece of the puzzle that Britt has yet to reveal. Whatever Dante is searching for, he appears determined to get a clearer picture.
Britt and Willow Find Common Ground
Britt will also cross paths with Willow Cain, and their interaction could take an unexpectedly emotional turn.
The two women may discover that they have more in common than they initially realized. Instead of another tense encounter, Monday’s episode could give Britt and Willow a chance to show each other genuine understanding.
Dante Has Advice for Chase
Dante will later turn his attention toward Harrison Chase and offer him some guidance.
Chase has been trying to get answers about the other driver who abandoned the scene of Jordan Ashford’s crash. Dante may encourage him to reconsider how deeply he gets involved in that investigation.
There could be another reason behind Dante’s advice. He may want Chase to focus more on his marriage to Brook Lynn Quartermaine rather than slipping back into his familiar habit of constantly coming to Willow’s rescue.
Rocco and Scout Discover a Secret
Finally, Rocco Falconeri and Scout Quartermaine will stumble across information that was never meant for them to hear.
The secret could leave both youngsters surprised, but discovering it together may create a new bond between them.
Whatever they learn, the fact that Rocco and Scout now share the same secret could become important going forward. Their discovery may create an unexpected connection while potentially putting them in the middle of an adult problem.
