Tuesday’s, September 1, episode of General Hospital was packed with shocking discoveries, emotional family drama, and a disturbing new development surrounding Trina.

Danny and Charlotte found Jack Brennan’s dead body floating in the Metro Court pool, while Ava and Drew soon found themselves dealing with the corpse. Carly and Jason investigated a major security breach at the hotel, Dante and Lulu reconsidered their parenting approach with Rocco, and Ric and Elizabeth enjoyed a double date with Portia and Isaiah.

Meanwhile, Trina and Gio finally made their debut at the Cat’s Eye Lounge, unaware that Trina’s obsessed fan was watching closely.

Danny and Charlotte Discover Jack Brennan’s Body

Charlotte and Danny were terrified when they stumbled upon Jack Brennan’s lifeless body floating in the Metro Court pool.

The discovery immediately sent them into a panic. Danny was particularly worried about calling the police because he feared Drew could somehow use Jack’s death against him.

Instead of reporting what they had seen, Danny and Charlotte decided to leave the scene. They ran away, hoping someone else would eventually discover what had happened.

Ava and Drew Find Themselves in Trouble

While Danny and Charlotte were escaping the pool area, Ava was dealing with a crisis of her own.

Back in Jack’s room, Ava was extremely nervous that Brennan might return at any moment. She wanted Drew to leave immediately, but Drew refused because he still needed to find the evidence Jack had against him.

Eventually, Ava convinced Drew to leave the room with her.

But when they reached the pool deck, they discovered something neither of them could ignore—Jack’s body was floating face-up in the pool.

Ava instantly understood how dangerous the situation could be.

Dante had already seen Ava with Jack at the Gardens. Because of that, Ava feared investigators could eventually connect her to Brennan’s death.

She also made it clear that she would not allow herself to take the fall alone. If Jack’s death brought trouble, Drew would be caught up in it too.

The pair pulled Jack’s body out of the pool and placed it inside a laundry cart.

They covered the corpse with pool towels and planned to use the service elevator to take the body down to the garage. From there, they hoped to dispose of Jack before anyone realized what they were doing.

Rocco and Scout Get Caught in the Middle

At the Quartermaine boathouse, Rocco and Scout continued growing closer.

Rocco encouraged Scout to take a Speech & Debate class as an elective at school. He believed the class could help her gain confidence and become better at handling arguments, particularly when she needed to stand up to her father.

Charlotte and Danny soon approached, but Danny was still distracted by everything that had happened at the Metro Court.

He admitted that he had been so shaken by discovering Brennan’s body that he accidentally dented Chase’s truck—the vehicle he and Charlotte had taken without permission.

Danny also insisted that there was no way they could tell anyone what they had witnessed.

That immediately made Scout and Rocco suspicious.

When Scout learned that Danny had damaged Chase’s truck, she became upset. She saw the incident as yet another reason why her father might try to keep her separated from Charlotte.

The situation became even more heated when Danny insulted Drew.

Charlotte quickly defended Danny, while Rocco took Scout’s side.

The argument turned into a painful clash between all four of them.

Eventually, Scout became emotional and admitted that she hated feeling as though she had to choose between her brother and her father.

Rocco realized how deeply upset she was and took her home.

Charlotte’s Missing Bracelet Creates Another Problem

Danny later felt terrible about snapping at Charlotte.

He explained that he had reacted badly because he was overwhelmed by everything that had happened. Discovering Jack’s body and then damaging Chase’s truck had left him completely frazzled.

Then Charlotte realized something else was wrong.

Her bracelet was missing.

The bracelet had not simply been lost somewhere.

It was stuck on Jack’s sleeve.

That meant Charlotte had unknowingly left behind a potentially important piece of evidence connected to Brennan’s death.

Carly and Jason Uncover a Serious Security Breach

The Metro Court System Was Hacked

Carly soon discovered that the Metro Court’s security system had been compromised.

The hotel’s security had been disabled, and the alarm system had also been deactivated.

Carly contacted Jason for help figuring out what was happening.

Jason quickly discovered that this was not an ordinary technical failure. A sophisticated virus had been installed through Carly’s office computer.

That immediately raised questions about whether the security breach was connected to one of the hotel’s important guests.

Carly and Jason considered the possibility that Jack Brennan could somehow be involved.

They went to Jack’s room to investigate, but Brennan was nowhere to be found.

Jason also noticed something suspicious inside the room.

It had clearly been searched.

With Jack missing, the security system compromised, and his room disturbed, Carly and Jason had plenty of reasons to believe something serious had taken place.

Dante and Lulu Rethink Their Parenting of Rocco

They Realize They May Be Too Protective

Before meeting Elizabeth, Ric stopped at Haven Café because he was nervous about his upcoming double date with Elizabeth and her work friends.

Lulu encouraged him to stop worrying about making the perfect impression and simply be himself.

Dante arrived as Ric was leaving.

Lulu joked that she had started realizing Dante’s uncle wasn't quite as bad as she once thought.

Dante then told Lulu about his conversation with Britt concerning Rocco.

That conversation caused Dante and Lulu to take a closer look at their own parenting.

They realized that they had been hovering over Rocco too much.

Their intentions were good, but they were beginning to see that being overly protective could prevent Rocco from developing independence and learning from his own mistakes.

Dante and Lulu remembered that their own parents had allowed them to make mistakes when they were teenagers.

They decided Rocco deserved the same opportunity.

The two agreed to give him more freedom while continuing to support each other as parents.

Lulu also hoped that if they handled things correctly, Rocco would eventually feel comfortable turning to them instead of relying so heavily on Britt.

Ric and Elizabeth Have a Successful Double Date

Isaiah had planned a double date with Ric and Elizabeth at the Metro Court, hoping it would help Portia take her mind off missing Trina’s performance.

Ric arrived with some nerves of his own.

He wanted to make a good impression on Elizabeth’s work friends, but Lulu’s advice encouraged him to relax and be himself.

During dinner, Elizabeth mentioned that she had received some additional softball coaching from Dante.

Ric became tense for a moment, but he managed to keep his jealousy under control.

Instead, he joked that the extra coaching might finally give his team some serious competition next season.

Isaiah also apologized to Ric for dropping the civil lawsuit.

Ric respected Isaiah’s decision. He understood that the doctor did not want to make an already difficult situation even worse.

As the evening continued, the two couples managed to have a pleasant time together.

Trina and Gio Prepare for Their First Performance

Josslyn and Hudson Bring Their Own Tension

At the Cat’s Eye Lounge in Rochester, Trina and Gio were preparing for their debut performance.

Before they took the stage, they met with Brook Lynn and Simon.

Simon still wanted Trina and Gio to pretend they were romantically involved as part of their act.

Josslyn arrived to support Trina.

Hudson soon followed after his new boss instructed him to meet Josslyn there.

Hudson wasn't happy that Josslyn wanted to handle JJE business at the club. The two began arguing about the contracts he needed her to review and sign.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn disagreed with Simon’s idea.

She believed Trina and Gio already had excellent chemistry and didn't need to pretend to be a couple.

Simon defended the plan, explaining that he only wanted them to succeed.

He also praised Trina and said that she was born to be a star.

Trina and Gio Finally Take the Stage

Emma, Kai, and Quinn eventually arrived.

Simon warned Kai not to hold Trina back.

Quinn thanked Emma for inviting him and said he wanted to put the tension between himself and Trina in the past.

With Emma’s encouragement, Gio thanked Brook Lynn for helping him rediscover his love of music.

The moment became emotional as Brook Lynn and Gio shared a warm hug.

Soon afterward, Simon introduced Trina and Gio to the audience.

The performers took the stage and received enthusiastic applause from the crowd.

Simon and Quinn both disappeared before the next song.

Josslyn teased Hudson about seemingly enjoying the performance despite his earlier complaints about being at the club.

But while Trina and Gio continued singing, someone else was watching.

Trina’s obsessed fan added a new photograph from the Cat’s Eye performance to the collection already displayed on the corkboard.

The unsettling development showed that Trina’s mysterious admirer was still keeping track of her.

What Will Happen Next on General Hospital?

Jack Brennan’s death has created a dangerous situation for everyone connected to the Metro Court.

Danny and Charlotte know what they saw, and Charlotte’s bracelet may now provide a connection to the scene. Ava and Drew are secretly trying to move Jack’s corpse before they are discovered.

At the same time, Carly and Jason are investigating the hotel’s hacked security system and the suspicious activity inside Jack’s room.

Dante and Lulu have chosen to give Rocco more freedom, while Ric and Elizabeth managed to enjoy an unexpectedly pleasant double date.

And although Trina and Gio’s debut was a success, Trina’s obsessed fan remains a disturbing presence in the background.

How do you think Jack died? Will Ava and Drew be caught with his body? Are Dante and Lulu making the right choice by giving Rocco more freedom? And what do you think Trina’s obsessed fan will do next?
