The Tuesday, July 28, 2026, episode of General Hospital delivered emotional reunions, dangerous confrontations, family healing, and fresh mysteries. Drew returned home determined to make Willow pay, Jason finally reunited with Sonny and Carly after his long absence, Marshall met his newest grandson, and Josslyn's secretive WSB career continued to create tension with her friends.
Here's everything that happened in Port Charles.
Drew's Unexpected Return Leaves Willow Trapped
Willow was preparing to leave town with Wiley and Amelia after packing up some of their belongings. Just as she was about to leave, she noticed muddy footprints leading through the house. Moments later, the front door slammed shut, and Drew appeared, soaked from the lake but very much alive.
He immediately accused Willow of betraying him and called her a heartless psychopath. Drew warned that he would expose everything she had done to Michael, ensuring she would lose custody of the children and end up behind bars. He pushed Willow until she grabbed Wiley's baseball bat in self-defence. Before the confrontation could turn even more dangerous, Jack Brennan and Nina rushed inside.
Jack Forces Drew Into a Difficult Decision
Jack refused Nina's demand to eliminate Drew. Instead, he revealed evidence showing Drew had illegally handled federal funds and hinted that investigators had uncovered even more damaging information.
Drew threatened to expose everyone else if they tried to bring him down, but Jack reminded him that federal crimes could send him to prison for many years. Willow then used Scout as the deciding factor. She told Drew to think about how devastated his daughter would be if he went to prison. Her emotional appeal finally convinced him to stay silent and agree to their divorce.
As Willow walked out, she quietly removed her wedding rings and dropped them onto the floor, calling the sound "freedom." Drew fired back with a bitter warning, making it clear that he had no intention of forgiving her.
Jason Finally Comes Home to Carly and Sonny
Back at Carly's house, Sonny and Carly were discussing Valentin when Jason unexpectedly walked through the back door.
The emotional reunion brought smiles all around. Jason updated them on his recent trip and admitted that he had made real progress rebuilding his relationship with Danny. Carly was especially surprised to learn that Jason had secretly been protecting Rocco during the entire ordeal. Although Jason stayed quiet about everything that happened in Jakarta, he admitted he was grateful Rocco hadn't been the one trapped in prison.
As the conversation shifted toward Sidwell's arrest, Jason questioned why Sidwell had taken Acting District Attorney Turner hostage. Sonny carefully avoided revealing his connection to Turner but admitted it never hurts to have allies inside the District Attorney's office.
Carly Shares Big News About Josslyn
Carly also filled Jason in on everything he had missed. She explained that Josslyn had chosen to remain with the WSB, although she was relieved her daughter was no longer working undercover. Sonny then casually revealed that Valentin was now a free man, and was dating Carly.
Despite the awkward revelation, Carly quickly calmed Sonny before any argument could begin, and the longtime friends agreed it was finally time to celebrate Jason's safe return.
Marshall Meets Baby Desmond
Meanwhile, Portia and Isaiah were settling into life at home with baby Desmond when Marshall arrived for an emotional family visit.
Marshall happily introduced himself to his newest grandson and admitted that he regretted missing so much of Curtis' childhood. He promised Desmond that history would not repeat itself. Portia explained that she and Curtis were trying to put their differences aside for the baby's sake. Marshall later told Isaiah he wanted the opportunity to build a genuine relationship with him as well.
Although everyone hoped the family could move forward, Portia admitted that much depended on the outcome of the upcoming trial.
Danny and Rocco Finally Reach Common Ground
At the Quartermaine mansion, Charlotte joined Danny and Scout, where Danny happily announced he would soon be living there with Jason.
Things became uncomfortable when Rocco arrived, but the tension slowly eased. Danny and Rocco agreed to put the past behind them, and Rocco also repaired his relationship with Charlotte. Later, Danny and Charlotte decided to take a boat trip to Egret Island despite Rocco's concerns that they would get caught. While they were away, Scout stayed behind with Rocco and revealed that her charity swim honoured not only Monica but also her father, who first taught her to swim.
Charlotte Hopes the Healing Continues
After returning safely from Egret Island, Charlotte told Danny she hoped Rocco would finally let go of the anger he had been carrying so everyone could truly move forward.
Emma Questions Josslyn's WSB Future
At the Metro Court pool, Josslyn finally admitted to Emma and Trina that she was working as a WSB agent.
Emma immediately pressed her with difficult questions, wondering whether Joss knew anything about her grandmother's recent mental health struggles. Joss insisted she had no involvement and explained that her earlier questions about Faison were only part of an investigation involving Anna and Cullum.
Emma pleaded with her friend to leave the agency before it destroyed her life, arguing that the WSB had already ruined too many people. Trina tried to stay neutral, admitting she disliked Josslyn's career choice but respected her decision. When Joss stepped away to answer a phone call, Trina privately admitted she was still hurt that Joss had hidden the truth for so long.
Gio's Update Raises New Concerns
The conversation took another unexpected turn when Gio arrived with news that Drew had survived and safely returned home. Instead of bringing relief, the update immediately worried Trina, who feared Drew's return could create even more trouble.
Moments later, Josslyn noticed Emma, Gio, and Trina laughing together while she stood apart from the group. Feeling increasingly isolated, she quietly placed a confidential call requesting a secure line to the WSB office in Berlin, hinting that another major mission could already be underway.
Final Thoughts
Tuesday's episode packed together major turning points across Port Charles. Drew's bitter confrontation with Willow ended with the collapse of their marriage, Jason's long-awaited reunion brought warmth back to Sonny and Carly, Marshall embraced a new chapter with his growing family, and Josslyn's connection to the WSB continued to create distance between her and those closest to her.
With Drew openly threatening revenge and Josslyn secretly contacting the Berlin office, the fallout from these events is only beginning.
