General Hospital Recap for Tuesday, August 11, 2026: Michael Sends Jacinda Away as Willow Demands Custody
The Tuesday, August 11, 2026, episode of General Hospital delivered plenty of emotional confrontations and unexpected developments in Port Charles. Willow struggled to piece together what happened after she was drugged, while Michael made a painful decision involving Jacinda.
Elsewhere, Josslyn pushed Jack Brennan to give her another assignment, Jordan presented Valentin with a possible business opportunity, and Emma began to see how Gio's music career was changing their relationship. Meanwhile, Cody finally met his sister Serena, leading to an unexpectedly positive first meeting.
Willow Wakes Up With Questions
Willow woke up at Nina's place feeling groggy and confused. She could not remember everything that had happened the previous night, leaving her struggling to understand why she felt so out of sorts.
Nina was nearby and explained that Michael had been at the house when she returned. He had immediately become concerned after seeing Willow behaving strangely.
As Willow thought through the events, she reached an unsettling conclusion. She believed someone had drugged her, and Jacinda quickly became the obvious suspect.
Willow's anger soon turned toward Michael. Convinced that he was somehow responsible for what happened, she decided she was done trying to resolve their custody dispute peacefully.
She declared that she intended to fight for full custody of Wiley and Amelia.
Willow Wants Proof
Unfortunately, the coffee cup involved in the incident was gone, leaving Willow without an obvious piece of evidence connecting Jacinda to the drugging.
Rather than wait, Willow decided to go to General Hospital for a blood test. She hoped the results would establish exactly what had been put into her system and help prove what happened.
Nina reminded her daughter that the incident came after Willow had placed a restraining order against Jacinda. She tried to persuade Willow to stop escalating the conflict with Michael and find a way to settle their differences.
Willow, however, was not ready to back down.
Michael Makes a Painful Choice
Over at the Quartermaine house, Jacinda was confronted with the seriousness of what she had done.
Michael explained that Wiley and Amelia had been with Willow the previous night. Because of Jacinda's actions, Willow had nearly driven with the children while under the influence of Molly.
Jacinda had not intended to put the children in danger, and Michael understood that. But he also knew the situation could have ended terribly.
Michael was especially worried about what would happen once Willow discovered that Jacinda was responsible. He feared Willow would assume he had arranged the entire scheme.
Michael had already removed the coffee cup, eliminating an important piece of evidence. Even so, he knew that protecting his relationship with his children had to come first.
Jacinda Leaves Port Charles
Michael told Jacinda that they could no longer stay together. As painful as the decision was, he believed their relationship had to end and that Jacinda needed to leave town.
The conversation was heartbreaking for both of them.
Michael did not want Jacinda to leave with nothing, so he gave her money to help her begin again somewhere else. Their goodbye marked a painful end to their relationship as Jacinda prepared to walk away from Port Charles.
Not long afterward, Gio walked into the kitchen and immediately noticed that something was wrong with Michael.
Michael admitted that things were already bad and warned that he believed they were about to become even worse.
His concern was justified.
Willow suddenly arrived and made her intentions very clear. She announced that she was going after full custody of the children.
Josslyn Wants Back in the Field
At breakfast in the Metro Court Gardens, Josslyn made it clear to Jack that she was ready to return to work.
She wanted another assignment and was eager to get back into the field. Jack, however, did not agree that she was ready.
He believed Josslyn needed more time before returning to active work and preferred to keep her handling matters from the office.
Josslyn was frustrated by his decision.
Josslyn Considers Jax's Offer
With Jack refusing to give her another field assignment, Josslyn suggested that she might accept her father Jax's offer to take over JJE.
Jax had been trying to move her away from the WSB, and Josslyn considered running the company instead.
Jack found the situation suspicious.
He could not understand why Jax would simply hand over his corporation to Josslyn without having a serious discussion about it first. Although Josslyn dismissed the situation as nothing more than family drama, Jack decided that he wanted to investigate.
Nina Turns to Jack
Later, Nina asked Jack to meet her at her condo.
She was increasingly worried about the direction of Willow's custody battle with Michael. Nina feared that the conflict would continue escalating until it caused even more damage to the family.
She wanted Jack's help in preventing the situation from spiraling further.
Jordan Offers Valentin a Business Opportunity
Valentin approached Jordan because he wanted her advice.
He reminded her that he had helped save her life. Jordan was surprised to discover that Valentin had assisted Curtis when Curtis pulled her from the vehicle following the accident.
Valentin then turned the conversation toward business.
He wanted Jordan's opinion about which of Sidwell's assets might be worth pursuing once the holdings went up for auction.
Jordan offered him some possibilities. She suggested that Valentin consider the cargo-related businesses or a phone software company that appeared to have strong future potential.
Valentin Wants More From Jordan
Valentin was interested in getting even more information from Jordan.
Rather than simply hand over additional advice, Jordan suggested a different arrangement. She told Valentin that he could make her an offer to work as a paid consultant.
Jordan would then decide whether his offer was worth accepting.
Molly Deals With Sidwell's Unexpected Plea Deal
Cody arrived at the courthouse carrying flowers for Molly.
He wanted to congratulate her after Sidwell was sent to Pentonville. But Molly was not exactly celebrating.
She was disappointed because Sidwell had accepted a last-minute plea deal. As a result, the case never reached the trial she had expected.
Molly had even given up her book tour because she believed the case would become one of the biggest moments of her career. Now that Sidwell had avoided a trial, she felt as though she had sacrificed the opportunity for nothing.
Cody tried to change her perspective.
He reminded Molly that Sidwell was still going to Pentonville, meaning the outcome was still a victory in many ways.
He suggested they stop dwelling on what could have happened and celebrate with a day at the pool.
Emma and Gio Face New Relationship Strain
At the pool, Emma had a surprise for Gio.
She had planned a camping trip for the two of them, hoping they could spend some uninterrupted time together.
Unfortunately, Gio's increasingly demanding music schedule made the trip impossible.
Gio explained that he could not get away, leaving Emma disappointed. Still, she tried to be understanding and supportive rather than make him feel guilty.
But another conversation made Emma realize that the problem went deeper than one missed trip.
Gio told her that after finishing his lifeguard shift, he still needed to rehearse with Trina.
Emma Notices the Distance
Emma began to understand just how much time Gio's music career was consuming.
She wanted to support his ambitions, but she was also starting to feel the impact on their relationship. The canceled camping trip and Gio's packed schedule left Emma wondering whether they were still finding enough time for each other.
Lucy Refuses to Change Her Deception Strategy
Nearby, Serena spoke with Lucy about Michael and the situation involving Deception.
Serena did not believe Michael was actually planning to take Deception away from them. Because of that, she saw no reason to continue pursuing his shares.
Lucy disagreed.
She remained convinced that Michael would ultimately put his family first. Lucy was also worried that Tracy would eventually find a reason to push her out.
Because of those concerns, Lucy wanted to continue with the original plan.
Cody Finally Meets Serena
When Cody and Molly arrived, Lucy introduced Cody to Serena.
The meeting was an important moment because Cody and Serena were siblings who had not yet had the chance to properly get to know one another.
Rather than allowing the situation to remain awkward, the two made plans to spend time together and begin building a relationship.
Cody Lets Go of Old Resentment
Later, Cody opened up to Molly about how he had expected his first meeting with Serena to go badly.
For a long time, he had been bitter because Serena was Dominique's sole heir while their mother had left Cody without an inheritance.
Cody admitted that those feelings had influenced how he viewed Serena before even getting to know her.
But Molly had helped him change his perspective.
Instead of constantly focusing on what he had been denied, Cody realized that he needed to appreciate what he actually had in his life.
That realization allowed him to approach Serena without the same resentment he had carried before.
