The Thursday, July 30, 2026, episode of General Hospital packed Port Charles with emotional reunions, dangerous warnings, and mysterious new arrivals. Serena Baldwin made her long-awaited return home, Ethan crossed paths with someone from his past, and Jason Morgan was left shaken by an unexpected sight at General Hospital.

Meanwhile, Anna continued struggling with haunting memories, Curtis prepared for his courtroom battle, and Ava decided to take a chance on romance.

Serena Baldwin Returns With a Secret

The atmosphere at the Metro Court Garden quickly changed when Serena Baldwin arrived back in Port Charles for a family visit. Lucy Coe complained to Felicia that Maxie had sold her Deception shares to Michael instead of giving Lucy the opportunity to buy them. Their conversation was interrupted when Serena reunited with her family.

Serena happily filled Felicia in on Scotty's new life in Key West and admitted she was excited to finally meet her brother Cody face-to-face. Once Felicia stepped away, Serena privately confessed something much more troubling — her trust fund had completely disappeared. Seeing an opportunity, Lucy immediately asked Serena to help her regain control of Deception from the Quartermaines.

Jason and Anna Reconnect While Peter Pushes Anna Toward Violence

Jason stopped by to check on Anna, and the two reflected on everything they had endured in recent months. Anna admitted she still couldn't understand how Sidwell and Cullum managed to convince her that Faison had returned. Whoever orchestrated the deception knew intimate details that only someone close to Faison could have known.

Jason stood by Britt, insisting she had been manipulated just like everyone else and shouldn't be blamed. Although Anna wasn't completely convinced of Britt's innocence, she promised Jason she would try to move forward instead of living in the past.

After Jason left, Anna's disturbing hallucinations returned when Peter appeared before her. He insisted Cassius and Britt were responsible for everything she had suffered and chillingly suggested that eliminating Britt was the only way to protect the people Anna loved.

Ava Opens Her Heart to Ethan

At the Metro Court pool, Ethan continued pursuing Ava and encouraged her not to ignore the chemistry between them. Although Ava admitted she had been hurt by previous relationships with Ric and Jenz, Ethan convinced her their connection deserved a real chance. By the end of their conversation, Ava agreed to see where things might lead.

When Trina arrived, she immediately noticed the growing attraction between the pair. Ava admitted she hadn't expected to fall for someone again but confessed Ethan made her feel hopeful about the future.

Michael Worries Willow Could Turn to Chase

Elsewhere at the pool, Brook Lynn met with Michael to discuss Deception business. Michael revealed that Drew had recovered and that his marriage to Willow was officially ending. He also admitted he feared Willow could eventually pursue Chase once the divorce became final. Brook Lynn became visibly uneasy after hearing Michael's concerns.

Ethan Is Shocked by Hudson's Arrival

Ethan later stopped by to congratulate Chase and Brook Lynn on their upcoming adoption paperwork for Phoebe. However, the happy conversation came to an abrupt end when Ethan noticed a mysterious man named Hudson speaking with a pool employee. The moment Ethan recognized Hudson, his expression completely changed, suggesting the newcomer could be connected to a troubling chapter from Ethan's past.

Tracy Offers Michael Some Reassurance

Inside the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy and Stella caught up over tea while discussing the latest drama surrounding their families. Stella admitted she remained concerned that Curtis was rejecting a plea deal ahead of his legal battle.

Later, Michael joined Tracy and shared the latest update about Drew and Willow ending their marriage. He repeated his fear that Willow might try to reconnect romantically with Chase. Tracy wasn't convinced. She reminded Michael that Chase had already shown where his priorities belonged — with Brook Lynn and Phoebe — and believed nothing would change that.

Marshall Encourages Curtis to Rethink His Strategy

At Portia's home, Curtis continued preparing for his upcoming courtroom showdown while taking care of baby Des. He explained that his legal defense depended on convincing the jury his suspicions about Isaiah leaving the accident scene were reasonable, even without concrete proof.

Jack Reminds Tristan Who Really Calls the Shots

At General Hospital, Isaiah vented his frustrations to Britt before the trial, saying he was tired of the ongoing hostility with Curtis and looked forward to confronting him in court. Elsewhere, Jack checked in on Tristan and questioned how he was settling into his new position.

Tristan attempted to establish firm boundaries, insisting he didn't want WSB personnel constantly appearing at the hospital and would only submit reports when necessary. Jack quickly shut that idea down, reminding Tristan that he wasn't the one making the rules.

Jason Is Left Speechless by Tristan's Presence

The episode ended with another major surprise. While Britt and Tristan worked together treating a patient, Jason stepped off the hospital elevator. The moment he saw Tristan, Jason immediately recognized him as the WSB agent who had escorted him from Jakarta back to Port Charles. Seeing Tristan now working side-by-side with Britt left Jason visibly stunned and raised even more questions about the WSB's true plans.
