Here’s everything that happened on General Hospital on Friday, August 14, 2026.
Alexis Gets an Unexpected Offer From Jack
Drew Refuses to Let Scout See Sam’s Family
At the Metro Court Gardens, Alexis tried once again to convince Drew to let Scout spend time with Sam’s family. Drew refused, making it clear that he believed keeping Scout away from them was the safest choice for his daughter.
Alexis reminded Drew that when he was unable to care for Scout himself, the Davis women had stepped in to help. Drew, however, was in no mood to reconsider his position.
He blamed Danny’s influence for Scout’s recent injury and accused Alexis of filling his daughter’s head with harmful stories about him. Drew also made it clear that he believed Alexis disliked him enough that he could not trust her around Scout.
Alexis continued trying to get Drew to see things from Scout’s perspective and urged him to do what was genuinely best for his daughter.
That was when Jack arrived.
Jack overheard the argument and quickly inserted himself into the situation. He suggested that Drew should be careful about provoking people, especially if there were questionable parts of his political past that could still come back to haunt him.
Drew eventually backed down and left.
Jack Wants Information From Alexis
Once Drew was gone, Jack revealed that he could potentially help Alexis deal with the situation.
He offered to give her information he had gathered about Drew. But Jack was not offering his assistance for free.
In return, he wanted information about Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
That left Alexis facing an intriguing choice. If she accepted Jack’s proposal, she might gain something useful against Drew—but she would also have to decide whether sharing information about Jax’s business was worth the risk.
Danny and Charlotte Decide to Fight Dirty
Danny Wants to Protect Scout
At the Quartermaine boathouse, Danny opened up to Charlotte about his frustration over Drew continuing to prevent him from spending time with Scout.
Charlotte encouraged Danny to stop playing fair.
She suggested that they could create something damaging about Drew that would make him look terrible. Danny immediately hesitated because he knew any action against Drew could also create problems for Scout.
Charlotte, however, argued that Drew was already hurting Scout by keeping her separated from her family.
Her argument eventually convinced Danny that he needed to find something they could use against Drew.
Danny knew that whatever they uncovered would have to seriously damage Drew's image.
Charlotte agreed that they needed something that would make Drew look especially bad.
Jason Makes a Major Decision About Sonny
Carly Supports Jason's Choice
Jason finally opened up to Carly about his decision to stop working for Sonny.
He explained that his experience in Jakarta changed the way he looked at his life. Jason realized that Danny had to become his top priority, especially because he was now his son's only parent.
The risks that Jason had once been willing to accept for Sonny no longer made sense to him.
Carly understood how difficult that decision must have been. She knew Jason's loyalty to Sonny had always been an important part of his life, and she reassured him that choosing Danny was the right thing to do.
Jason also admitted that there had been times when his loyalty to Sonny came before his loyalty to Carly. He apologized for those moments.
Carly accepted his decision and remained firmly in his corner.
What Comes Next for Jason?
As Jason considered what he would do next, Carly offered a possible solution.
She suggested that Jason could work with the Quartermaines at ELQ.
The conversation also turned toward Britt. Carly wondered how Britt would react to Jason's decision, but Jason admitted that he had not told her yet.
Despite Jason leaving Sonny's organization, he and Carly made one thing clear: their friendship would remain unchanged.
Sonny and Justine Keep Their Relationship Secret
Sonny Wants a Different Future
At the apartment above Charlie's, Justine confronted Sonny about his plans for Sidwell.
She wanted to know whether Sonny intended to have Sidwell killed while he was incarcerated at Pentonville.
Sonny gave her a very different picture of his future.
He explained that he was now operating legitimately as a coffee importer and wanted to expand his businesses. He also planned to try to buy back his piers once they were put up for auction.
Justine warned him that leaving his criminal past behind might not be as simple as he hoped.
Some of Sonny's previous crimes were still within the statute of limitations, she pointed out. Murder, she reminded him, was an entirely different matter because there was no statute of limitations.
Sonny and Justine Refuse to Walk Away
Their conversation eventually shifted toward their own relationship.
Sonny questioned whether Justine was uncomfortable being seen with him in public.
Justine admitted that she had genuine feelings for Sonny. However, she still believed they could not openly acknowledge their relationship.
If the District Attorney's office ever pursued a case against Sonny, Justine worried that being publicly connected to him could put her career at risk.
The two ultimately agreed that keeping their relationship private was the safest option.
They then shared a passionate kiss, showing that neither was ready to walk away from what they had.
Michael Makes a Deal With Tracy
Michael Wants Willow in the Gatehouse
Michael approached Tracy with an unusual request.
He wanted Tracy to allow Willow to move into the Quartermaine gatehouse.
Tracy immediately rejected the idea.
Michael then revealed that he possessed information about Willow that she would not want exposed. He believed placing Willow in the gatehouse would allow him to keep a close eye on her while still giving her the opportunity to remain connected to the children.
Tracy worried that bringing Willow onto the property could create even more problems for Brook Lynn and Chase.
Michael continued making his case, explaining that he was trying to save his family.
Eventually, Tracy gave in and agreed to his plan.
Scout and Rocco Find a Way to Stay Close
Scout Opens Up About Her Family Problems
Rocco switched shifts with Danny so Scout could get some practice time at the Metro Court pool.
While they spent time together, Scout admitted that she was worried Drew might eventually stop her from seeing Rocco because of Rocco's grandfather.
Scout confessed that life had actually seemed easier when her father was in a wheelchair.
She loved spending time with her mother's family, but she felt caught between the people she cared about. She also understood that Drew's concerns about her safety were affecting the situation.
Scout was clearly struggling with the pressure surrounding her family.
Rocco Suggests a Secret Plan
Rocco did not want to make Scout's situation even harder.
He offered to stay away if that would prevent more problems, but Scout stopped him. She explained that Rocco was the one person she felt comfortable talking to.
Rocco then came up with a plan.
If they wanted to spend time together without Drew finding out, Scout could tell her father that she needed some time alone. Rocco would make a similar excuse to his parents.
The plan would allow them to remain friends without immediately creating another confrontation with Drew.
Molly and Cody Consider a Trip to Savannah
Cody Is Still Missing James
Molly found Cody dealing with another problem after Tracy's horse, Hades, bit him.
While Molly cleaned up the injury, Cody commented that Hades seemed to have become particularly difficult since James left.
Cody then admitted that he was missing James as well.
Molly decided that getting Cody out of town might help take his mind off everything.
She suggested a trip to Savannah, Georgia, where she had been invited to attend a romance convention connected to promoting her book.
Molly invited Cody to come along with her.
